Since Apple Launch its online app store they have been on the headlines all days. this market is tremendously increasing and analysts say that maybe it will be a $1 billion marketplace at some point in time. but what does this means for developers? how can developers obtain a piece of the cake?

if you are a Web, Windows or Enterprise developer as I am. this could take sometime until we could start developing state of the art mobile applications. we need to learn the guidelines and restrictions that mobile software required. if you are a .Net developer you can check out the Compact or Micro Framework, the only  thing is that the apps developed in those framworks can only target windows mobile OS. i heard about some guys that are already running Mono on their IPhones, but i don’t think Apple aloud this in a legal way.

Androidis about to be unveiled and a lot people has good expectations. i will be looking forward on the development environment for this. because if you want to start developing application for the Iphone be sure you got everything you need: A Mac, An Iphone and a subscription, yes that would be like a couple of hundreds $.

i dont have a Mac and i dont expect to buy one soon.  but i am wondering how my 13 moon calendar gadget will look in the Iphone or Android.
